Anyway....that video card is outdated ,I know it belongs to the famous GeForce 8 series but it isn't powerful enough for today's standards.
The guys from CompUSA don't specify it but the 8400 is a 64-bit memory interface which means the whole lot of 512MB of memory will be transfered via 64-bit :8MBs/bit is a very slow transfer.
Because you didn't specify the budget you're disposed to spend on a new video card I'm going to recommend you something that's no more than $50 first.

If you aren't budget limited at $50 then I would go with either
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
or even
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
You should also take a look at this one:

The last one is the one i would recommend ifyou can afford it because it's a 4870,and t's got 256bit interface.
I fyou don't want to go that high with the budget ...to spend that much then the 4850 512/256 will do the job very well ...just don't spend the money on a GeForce 8400GS because there's actually no reason to buy it...it's outdated.
I would rate the 8400 the way I want to ,from my viewpoint it's worth 5/10 ,but again...this is just for you to see it ...I wouldn't have rated the card because it isn't worth it....too slow.|||8400GS is not worth that much. This deal is much better:

HD 4670 1GB only for $39.99 after rebate, it's over 5 times faster than 8400GS.
