My computer runs visual programs and other things at an annoyingly slow rate. I was wondering if my video card was meant to run the visual aspect of the game or just display what the processor tells it to on the screen. So the question is: does my processor make visual programs slow or is it my video card that is the problem? For instance if i were to attempt fix this by buying a new video card, would that make some games/ visual programs faster to run and less glitchy or do i need a better processor to handle the math for those programs? Any help is appreciated thanks.|||The video card is responsible for sending images to a display device. 3D accelerated graphics cards are responsible for also rendering a 2D and 3D images before displaying it on a display device. To put it simply, the CPU tells the video card what to draw, and the video card draws it on the screen. Now if you're gaming, you need both a strong CPU and a strong video card. A strong CPU won't make up for a crappy video card and vice versa.|||Your Computer Video Card is just probably getting overheated.
A Video Card is used for to make your pc function with good performance
