Will a 300w psu with a 280w 12v max run a video card that requires a 12v current rating of 22a?

The short answer is maybe/maybe not. It may work for a while, and then have crashes because the PSU can't keep up. But check your PSU's nameplate to see if it can provide 22 amps on the +12V rail(s). The graphics card is only part of the work the PSU has to do. See below for a calculator to come up with the wattage you need to power your entire system.|||Looks good so far
