Features too look at when buying a video card

I have always assumed that the memory on the card is the most important thing but I guess not. I currently have Foxconn 8400 GS

Where would u rate this card?

What features must u look for when buying a video card (for gaming)|||If you really want a bang for buck card then you must look for something like the 8600GT 512 or the Radeon 3850.

These cards can play all modern games full eye candy at 1024x768

t4ke c4re|||Whats your budget? If its in the 50-100 dollar range get a 8600 gt card. Those cards are pretty good for the casual caaming, maybe can run on crysis on low settings. pay a little more and you get the 8800 gt, which is a greate card for price to performance ratio.

Basically you look for the core clock and memroy clock, those are key elements, then check if its DX10, which is pretty much a standard now.
