I have an AMD Athlon 2400+ with an nvidia 64mb video card in it and 786mb memory and a big hard drive. If I upgrade the video card to an 128 or 256mb video card, what will I notice performance-wise? The biggest games I play on it are some of the 2008 sports basketball/football/hockey, which all do OK frame-rates at medium graphic settings. I downloaded the demo of the the latest flight simulator, but it was a little choppy on the framerate even on low graphic settings. I don't have the money or much intererest to get a new computer anytime soon, but was wondering if this might be an easy upgrade...|||Is it easy to upgrade yes, and for gameplay you will notice an increase in performance, upgrading your ram will also help out.
I would still recommend you upgrade your whole system.|||A huge difference. A GPU one of the most important pieces of harware in gaming.|||yes deffenly, they are cheep and make a huge difference
