Would this video card be good ?

im building a decent pc for a friend for xmas- hes wont be bothered too much about graphics.



do you think this video card would run games okay? like would it run call of duty 4 at okay settings with a good frame rate?

Okay, the 3450. It should run COD 4 with a good frame rate at lower settings. This isn't really a gaming card though. If he wants to do more gaming but nothing too serious i would recommend the 3650. the 3450 is good for a media centre pc coz it has something called UVD on it that will take the stress of the processor if your watching blu-rays. Also it's fanless. it doesn't require a powerful psu as it draws it's power from the pcie slot. Oh and you can run dual monitors with it.



You can use this card with any motherboard that has a PCI Express slot. The card is backwards compatible so you could even use it with an old MB that has PCIe 1.0. I would recommend one of the asus' boards.
