I'm not really satisfied with the performance of my video card, so I am shopping for a new one and can't make up my mind. Newegg has lots of good, highly-rated choices for PCI-E 2.0 but I can't decide. Size and Power usage are not really a factor, but I don't want to spend more than $200USD. Here are the specs of my rig if needed, thanks in advance:
CPU - AMD Phenom II X3 710 2.6GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core
RAM - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
PSU - Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W ATX12V v2.01 SLI Ready
MOBO - GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P
VIDEO - SAPPHIRE 100265HDMI Radeon HD 4830 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card
Currently, I am not using Crossfire and I don't plan to use either Crossfire or SLi although my rig is fully capable.|||If youre only playing WoW, that video card should be more than enough... What problems are you having, or why are you not satisfied.
If it is a framerate issue, try disabling Vertical Sync. That card should be able to pull 60-100FPS at max settings.
Hope this helps, if not - look for a better card, pref Nvidia.|||i say a nvidia 200 or nvidia 9000 series.......look on newegg or tigerdirect|||nvidia is my favorite
