Video Card and Power Supply Help?

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my video card and am thinking about getting a GeForce 7600GT 512MB card for my computer.

I'm almost postive that I need to upgrade my PSU due to it being 250 watts.

My specs are:

Dell Dimension 8300

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.6 GHz

2.5 GB of RAM

Current Card: GeForce4 MX440 and is AGP 8x

Here is the new PSU I'm looking at

Its the highest rated one on Newegg. Will it fit right into my computer case?

I'm a casual gamer and I'm updating my system to play some newer games, like the Orange Box.

If anyone has any suggestions or want to tell me that I am doing this right by some grace of God, please tell me. My price range is shown in the items, but willing to spend more for a worthwhile improvement.|||yeah, you must upgrade the power supply.

make sure your dell uses standard ATX power supplies, since some dells don't, which will cause problems.

You need have a ATX or micro-ATX case for the power supply to fit.

The new power supply is a good choice.|||if your case is ATX and the ps is ATX, then yes.|||if i were u i would get a 600 watt power supply. thats the one i have. its better to have a little more of those watts because ur computer might need it. or u can stay with that psu u picked. if u have a mid-tower or full-tower case that psu will fit fine. if u have a micro-tower it wont fit inside.|||to be honest i wouldnt bother upgrading wit ur computer, its a little outdated. if u want u could get the 7950 AGP or the X1950 AGP from radeon.

jus buy a whole new pc if i were u
