I have a 8600 card 128 bit. Is this the same rating nintendo and all the others use to "grade" there systems? Like n64 and ps2 128 bit.|||when you say that your 8600 card is 128-bit, thats referring the the memory bandwidth, not the actual processor.

The measurement "bits" is the same but it is measuring completely different things when comparing a gaming system and a video card.|||Actually, the 128-bit from your 8600 card is for the memory interface and not it's processing bandwidth. As far as the GPU itself is concerned, it's 256-bit processing bandwidth is what you would compare to the Nintendo 64's 64-bit GPU and PS2's 128-bit GPUs.
Other video cards can have memory interfaces ranging from 32-bit to 384-bit, but any modern GPU (DX8/9/10) will be a 256-bit GPU.
