PNY Geforce 8400GS PCI Video Card Resolutions Missing After Update?

I have a PNY Geforce 8400GS PCI Video Card the PCI edition, and so far its been working absolutely wonderful for being installed in my old Dell dimension 2350, My issue is i recently went to the Nvidia web page to check for and updates for my card and was directed to the Nvidia Force-ware 270.61, which was an update from the 266.58 i was currently running, i choose express install and keep my settings, everything installs fine, the pc restarts but after the restart the nvidia control panel only shows 800x600 or 1280x768 instead of the about 15 options i had before the update, also the Color stays in 32bit High quality but the medium and low quality settings are not on the list anymore either, and the refresh rate options disappear also, my pc is normally set to 70mhz refresh rate as that's the monitors top rate, but after the restart its set to 60mhz and cannot be changed cause all other refresh rates are missing from the list, the only way i got the controls to reappear was to restore my computer to the day before i updated the card|||uninstall ur video driver,Remove ur video card from cpu, then install your onboard graphics, then add ur card , then install ur video card and install the 270.61 driver
