Second of all you shouldn't be worried whether The Sims 3 will be compatible with the graphic card, but instead whether your computer will.

I assume you are going for a low budget, so I'd be looking at getting the ATI Radeon HD4350, or for $10 more the Nvidia GeForce 9400GT.

Then again you could go another $10 up and buy the 9500GT, which will be a great improvement.

If money is all that counts go for the middle card, the 9400GT, since this one is sufficient to run The Sims 3 on highest settings.

Cheers.

Tom.|||I did end up getting a PCI NVIDIAGeForce 8400 GS for 69.99 but I can get a 10.00 mail in rebate so it isnt too bad!

|||You shouldn't have taken that.

Online you could have found a 9600GT for 70$ and the 8400GS for 35$.

Anyway hope you enjoy The Sims 3!
